AD Energy is working with an exceptional developer in the Smart Energy Solutions and Solar Generation sector. As a cash rich construction business expanding rapidly and recognised throughout the UK, our client continues to achieve success in the market . They are looking to aggressively grow their Solar Operation, with a Sales Director focused on all commercial duties in the UK.This is a high growth opportunity, they have proved concept with a £2m LOI in hand and a further 13 tenders out, at least 70% of them they are confident they will win. This is the chance to grow something special under the banner of a larger, successful group.Key Responsibilities:· Reporting to the group CEO· Work closely with B2B key accounts and strategic clients, ensuring positive and continued partnerships with them, ensure exceptional customer care· Grow your own network of key solar pv connections – mainly EPCs and Developers· Approach developing client network base for business opportunities· Keep up to date with trends and commercial opportunities within the Solar PV Utility and Commercial markets· Be the first point of contact in the market for existing key accounts and new clients for concerning business or product enquires· Deliver training and education to partners and business prospects on the company and also product portfolio· Conduct business follow up and sales closure negotiations· Assist in regional marketing and new product sales launches· Propose product solutions for client requirements, assist product management· Liaise with other departments to ensure clients receive the best level of customer service: sales, marketing, customer technical service, finance etc.· Be and advocate and representative of the company for business and industry eventsKey Requirements:· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical key account management or B2B sales background· Must have direct working history within the UK PV sector, particularly for a good quality solar developer· Must possess an existing network within the UK solar market with EPCs and developers· Have a proven background in executing key sales plans and growing market share· A strong technical aptitude for high quality products- ability to sell their technical features· Have a positive and proactive can-do attitude· Possess a clear customer focus, with great professional communication· Drive for continuous improvement personally and professionally· Demonstrate and up to date knowledge and know-how of the local UK solar PV market· Flexibility to travel within the UK· Ability to work in high pressure and fast paced business cultureIf this position is of interest and you fulfil the requirements for this position please send your cv to: ##### to be considered.On offer is a salary of 90,000 - 100,000, with uncapped bonus and LTIP plan.
