Sales Director
Primary responsibility
This key strategic role is an exciting opportunity to progress your career and take a well established organisation to the next level.
To be suitable for the position, you must have a proven track record of developing / growing a sales strategy, building / improving a sales department and team whilst driving sales forward. A dental industry background would be an advantage however we are open to sales leaders from different industries.
Responsibilities:
Formulating effective sales strategies to achieve company goals, increase revenue, and expand market share. This involves analysing market trends, identifying opportunities, and setting sales targets.
Potentially build a sales team providing leadership and guidance
Overseeing all aspects of sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation. This involves ensuring that sales processes are efficient, and that sales activities are aligned with overall business objectives.
Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key corporate clients and stakeholders to drive sales and foster long-term partnerships. This may involve conducting client meetings, negotiating contracts, and addressing client concerns or feedback.
Utilising sales data and analytics to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. This may involve generating sales reports, analysing sales metrics, and identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborating with Finance Director on initiatives
Recruiting, hiring, and training sales staff to ensure that the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve sales targets.
Keeping abreast of industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Overall, the role of a sales director is multifaceted, requiring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to drive sales success and business growth.
