p A Sales Director, who can demonstrate experience of selling technical services into Tier 2 & Tier 3 Automotive companies, is urgently required. /p br If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description. br p The successful person would be working for a SME company based in Oxfordshire that process & apply performance enhancing ( Patented) coatings & heat shielding technology to a range of components. /p p Their clients include a range of vehicle component manufacturers; motorsport teams; aviation component manufacturers, engine & machinery manufacturers and aftermarket customers world-wide. /p p The organisations bespoke solutions are sold via R&D, Engineering and Design departments within their target clients, requiring their sales professionals to gain an understanding of the client’s needs before offering an appropriate technical solution. /p p Managing a team of 4 Internal Sales Engineers and 1 external account manager, you will be responsible for leading from the front & driving sales. /p p Reporting to the Managing Director as Sales Director your role would be 50% Account Development and 50% New business Development. /p p Working out of an office in Abingdon and in the field, you will be targeting both UK Based and Pan European clients. /p p Provided with regular leads and incoming enquiries which are generated by an external Marketing Agency & Internal Sales Team, you would also be expected to generate your own sales opportunities and follow them through to their successful conclusion. /p p The successful candidate will have: /p ul li Track record of selling into Tier 2 and Tier 3 Automotive Companies /li li Experience of managing a sales team /li li Track record of dealing with Engineering teams and selling technical solutions /li li Experience of presenting at board level /li li Be a team player /li li Have a strategic approach /li li An Engineering qualification ( Not essential) /li /ul p The successful candidate will be rewarded with a base salary of between £75000-£90000 /p p ( Negotiable) plus car allowance, annual bonus + benefits combined with real long term career progression opportunities . /p p The successful candidate will also be rewarded with share options and a board level position on completion of a successful 1st 12 months in post . /p
