Internal Sales Executive / Sales Support Engineer / Sales Engineer required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier in Basildon.
The successful Internal Sales Executive / Sales Support Engineer / Sales Engineer shall be responsible for technical advice, generating quotations, order processing, expediting, documentation, proposals and other aspects of sales for mechanical engineering products such as motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, power transmission products and more.
The Internal Sales Executive / Sales Support Engineer / Sales Engineer will ideally come from any sales, customer service or technical background with full training being provided, however having previously sold a product or a background working in a mechanical engineering environment is beneficial.�

Internal Sales Executive / Sales Support Engineer / Sales Engineer Role
Give technical advice, generating quotations, order processing, expediting, documentation, proposals and other aspects of sales for mechanical engineering products such as motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, power transmission products and more.
Provide technical support and cover to other Sales Engineers and all aspects of Customer services - e.g. order processing, expediting, documentation etc.
Learn all aspects of administration which includes order processing, invoicing, checking order confirmations.
Product specification plus after sales and service support.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Commutable to the office daily in Basildon
Internal Sales Executive �/ Sales Support Engineer / Sales Engineer Requirements
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable company.
Sales, customer service or technical background with full training being provided, however having previously sold a product or a background working in a mechanical engineering environment is beneficial.�
Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Engineering Administrator,� Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Executive, Technical Advisor or similar customer service position, ideally within mechanical engineering.
Preference given to those with experience selling, and or servicing mechanical equipment such as motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, actuators, compressors, bearings, and or similar hydraulic, fluid power, power transmission products or systems.
Technical aptitude and/or understanding of engineering equipment - mechanical or industrial engineering products is advantageous but not essential.�
Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree in engineering would be beneficial.
Must be commutable to Basildon or willing to re locat
