They supply a wide range of products globally and are now seeking to expand their team with an experienced Sales Estimator.

Key Accountabilities:

As a Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for the following:

• Preparing accurate proposals for products and services
• Maintaining and updating the product database regularly
• Costing material, labor, and production costs, and liaising with external suppliers
• Collaborating with the technical team to provide product education to customers on what is achievable to suit their project and budget needs
• Building long-term relationships with both new and existing customers and suppliers
• Taking ownership of estimates, driving them to completion (whether that be contract award or loss) and seeking feedback where applicable

Minimum Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Previous experience in an estimating role
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience in Steel / Aluminium Fabrication is desirable but not essential (however, a solid understanding is required)
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
