Job Title: Sales Executive - Exhibition Sales Mon - Fri - Office based in Coventry Salary - £30,000 per annum plus 10% bonus Our client is a super exciting exhibition company based in Coventry and they are looking for an ambitious sales executive to join the team. You must be happy to pick up the phone and introduce yourself to potential leads. Job Role Sales executive, telesales, sales, business development The main role for the sales executive will be supporting sales managers on sourcing, pitching, and consulting with companies who will exhibit at our exhibitions. The job will be phone-based from their Coventry office, there will be travel involved with the role to competitor exhibitions both domestically and internationally. Database for the calls will be provided, which will help the sales cycle. Marketing support will also be aimed at generating incoming enquiries throughout the sales cycle. Sales will be pitched and followed up before passing to Sales Managers for closing, each sale closed will result in commission for the Sales Executive. There will also be a bonus on each exhibition for the successful candidate. This role is an exciting opportunity with guaranteed company progression for the right candidate. Job Purpose: The sales executive is responsible for supporting the sales team throughout the sales process for both exhibition stands and sponsorship to potential clients on the exhibitions that they work on. It is essential in this role that the sales executive undertakes responsibility to Create, maintain and grow relationships with new and existing clients To achieve set revenue targets, set by the Managing Director, on an annual basis Hit daily KPI s on call rates Visit competitor exhibitions and domestic clients to source and pitch new business. Job Accountabilities: General Consistently achieve set KPI s by the Sales Manager, including call rates and diary entries Work as credit control where necessary ensuring clients meet payment commitments Floorplan management Managing of post sales service and account management to clients Identify and attend competitor events when required achieving set revenue targets onsite Balance phone-based selling with face to face appointments where necessary Database management and effective data entry Onsite Willingness to go and above and beyond the call of duty to ensure clients are satisfied with onsite service and interaction Demonstrate an understanding of set company rules and regulations in an onsite environment Remain polite and professional throughout despite what issues arise onsite To deliver best possible results for all participating exhibitors through customer service, industry knowledge and personal ability Person Specification Whereas a degree level of education is desirable for this role it is more important that the successful applicant has the ability to achieve the job accountabilities above. Educated to a secondary standard (UK GCSE or equivalent) is essential.
