Building Careers UK are proud to be Partnering with the FRC group, a registered charity, looking to add a Sales Executive to work in their growing team.

Who are FRC?

FRC are on a mission to end Furniture Poverty; helping people who are unable to access household furniture that is essential to achieve a socially acceptable standard of living.

They do this by being a "Social Business" - they generate revenue through sales & contracts to fund their work to end furniture poverty.

FRC are an extremely collaborative organisation, their staff are all bought in to the idea of Ending Furniture Poverty and are always available to help each other reach the common goal, they're a social business but re-invest profits so the more they make the more they can do to end furniture poverty both locally and nationally. They ensure that there is a friendly atmosphere and everyone is approachable, the Directors lead from the front and are always on hand to help.

What are FRC looking for?

FRC are a collaboration between multiple partnering brands. This specific role will be working with FRC Living, working closely with the Business Development Managers in order to maximise the relationships with key clients.

You'll be mainly office based, utilising phone calls, emails and teams calls to build and strengthen relationships with key clients. You'll be regularly checking in with repeat clients to ensure they're happy with the service provided and attempting to maximise opportunities.

The successful candidate will manage business relationships with Housing Association clients. Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Manage FRC Living business relationships with assigned customers to ensure that they receive a world class service.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with assigned customers to ensure existing spend is protected.
  • Maximise existing customer spend opportunities.
  • Provide sales support to BDMs to develop new sales opportunities. In person meetings and consultations with customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience either working for or with housing associations in a customer facing role. An interest in interior design or furniture will be an advantage. This role would be suitable for someone who is used to being on the phone regularly. The majority of the calls will be "warm" calls with previous or current clients. You'll be selling FRC's services to Housing Associations, persistence and determination are key attributes, but you'll need a soft sales approach - this is more about building relationships than transactional selling.

The salary on offer for this role is 32k.

If you think you've got what it takes to help FRC on their journey and have a passion for really being able to make a difference to peoples lives, get in touch with Jonathan Kirby for a confidential chat on (phone number removed)!
