Read on...👉 The role:As Denzel's Sales Executive, you’ll be the driving force behind securing new listings and nurturing the relationships in our independent trade channel. Mainly focused on dog-friendly pubs, hotels and cafes, farm shops, pet shops and garden centres. In addition, you will work closely with our specialist wholesale accounts, who provide a vital route to market and supply these valued independent stores. We’re looking for someone whose charm, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for Denzel’s will help us become the top pet challenger brand! You’ll be part of our small but mighty sales team based in Wanstead, East London.What you’ll be doing:Discovering and gaining new customers in our independent trade channel by constantly seeking out new opportunities mainly by phone, via email and in-person visits.Supporting and nurturing relationships with our existing customers and wholesalers to help create memorable in store experiences and enhancing Denzel’s brand visibility. Customer performance reports – you’ll be the internal lead for the independent channel and will be responsible for your own forecasts, trade spend and retailer plans, in line with our business objectives.Working closely with the Marketing Team to deliver campaigns that will drive rate of sale for our independent retailers.Attending and assisting various consumer events and trade shows around the UK to raise awareness of the Denzel’s brand and gain new partners.As a challenger brand (for our four-legged friends), we want Denzel's treats to be easy to find when dogs and their owners are out and about. The independent retail channel is a key driver in making this possible and spreading the word about Denzel’s! There are thousands of independent stores across the UK ready to sell the best treats on the market.👉 Who are we looking for?Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a customer-facing sales role aimed at acquiring new clients within the FMCG industryYou communicate confidently and efficiently, both on the phone and in person, enjoying the process of building long-lasting relationships with our customers. You’ve demonstrated success in past roles; with evidence of achieving results and finding innovative solutions to challenges.You approach new opportunities with urgency, energy and enthusiasm.Someone who believes in Denzel’s mission and fully embodies our core valuesExposure to independent and wholesale channels is a bonus, but not essential.A dog person!👉 Denzel's Core Values:Delight in the detail: We take pride in the details.
