The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating opportunities in advertising, content sales and sponsorship across the portfolio of print magazines and online platforms. You will cover all market segments in your region as the business look to further build direct end user client base.
The Role
Build and manage a pipeline of advertising clients
Effectively prospect leads and prioritise workloads
Proactively manage, monitor and report on your leads portfolio and pipeline
Answer and engage with all incoming enquiries in a timely manner
Meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly targets through outbound sales calls
Work with the wider sales team to understand opportunities and trends in the market
Use a variety of software packages (including, Google Docs, Zoho, Sharepoint, Teams)
Report on successes across a number of products and be responsible for helping each product meet targets
The Person
Previous experience within a sales environment.
This will be a varied role, predominantly telesales, with some client visits, where you will be engaging with business owners to create appealing media solutions
A clear ability to communicate with clients to a high standard via phone, email and occasionally video
Excellent organization, customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and part of a team
Terms
The role is field based, covering Somerset and Gloucestershire. There will be a requirement to meet with clients face to face and attend networking events from time to time, some of these may be in the evening. There will be occasional meetings at the head office in Camberley, Surrey.
Hours;full-time, with flexibility to adjust your working week as long as business and client needs can be met.
Salary: £25k basic, OTE £40k uncapped.
Commission structure in place.
Holiday allowance: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
