Salary:�������������� �30,000, depending on experience



Hours:��������������� Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week 8:00am - 4:30pm

We are currently recruiting for an experience Sales Ledger Clerk to join a friendly finance team, within the education sector based in Nottingham initially 6 months fixed term contract with the potential becoming a permanent position.





As the Sales Ledger Clerk you will be supporting the Management Accountant and Financial Controller.





Main duties of the Sales Ledger Clerk will be:






  • Working closely with the Management Accountant and Financial Controller

  • Managing the Sales Ledger

  • Raising sales invoices

  • Processing sales invoices

  • Chasing outstanding payments

  • Taking debit/ credit payments

  • Managing petty cash and expenses

  • Raising and preparing weekly and monthly reports�

  • Dealing with queries

  • Ad hoc duties relating to accounts/ finance





Ideal candidate should have:






  • Experience of Sales Ledger

  • Experience of working in within the Education sector would be an advantage

  • AAT or equivalent would be an advantage

  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written

  • Able to work to strict deadlines

  • Hold current DBS would be desirable
