Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Ledger Clerk to join our clients finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing invoices, and ensuring the timely collection of payments. This role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to maintain positive client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Raising and issuing sales invoices in an accurate and timely manner
Allocating customer payments and reconciling accounts
Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies or queries
Maintaining up-to-date customer account records
Preparing reports on aged debt and cash
Supporting the wider team with additional tasks as required
Maintaining accurate records with company policies
Key Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a sales ledger/ role would be desirable.�
Proficiency in accounting software - Xero, NetSuite and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
