Job Overview:
Blackwell Grange Hotel is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our sales and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing brand awareness, and developing comprehensive marketing strategies to attract new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed hotel revenue targets, including room bookings, events, conferences, and weddings.
Marketing Campaigns:
Create and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, and print, to promote the hotels services, special offers, and events.
Brand Management:
Maintain and enhance the hotels brand image and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing platforms, both online and offline.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, event organizers, and travel agencies to drive group bookings and repeat business.
Market Analysis:
Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
Revenue Generation:
Proactively seek new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events and exhibitions.
Event Coordination:
Collaborate with the events team to promote and manage large-scale functions, weddings, and conferences at the hotel.
Budget Management:
Manage the marketing and sales budget effectively, ensuring a strong return on investment for all campaigns and initiatives.
Reporting and Analysis:
Track and analyze sales and marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports to the General Manager and other stakeholders on the success of initiatives.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
Proven experience in sales and marketing management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Skills:
Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media and SEO.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education:
A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.
