The Role



The SAP Authorisation & Master Data Analyst is responsible for managing SAP user authorisations, improving security compliance, and supporting master data maintenance within SAP ECC6 and future S/4HANA environments. This role will involve leading authorisation projects, ensuring audit compliance, and contributing to the ERP migration strategy.



Key Responsibilities




  • User Access & Security Management: Maintain SAP user accounts, create and modify roles, and oversee the SAP user population and licensing.

  • Compliance & Risk Management: Improve segregation of duties to align with IT Controls and Financial Audit requirements.

  • Project Leadership: Lead SAP authorisation and master data-related projects, coordinating with functional analysts and business users.

  • Master Data Management: Support the configuration of SAP organisational objects and control processes for master data creation and modification.

  • ERP Migration Strategy: Prepare for the S/4HANA transition, defining best practices for user access and authorisation.



Skills and Experience



Essential:




  • Degree or equivalent technical qualification.

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP authorisations, ideally including S/4HANA and Fiori.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP organisational objects and master data.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams across multiple locations.

  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to high standards.

  • Experience in risk management and business system transformations.



Desirable:




  • Project management and planning experience.

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration projects.
