Job Title: SAP Commercial Project Management

Location: Home-based with occasional travel to Germany & Switzerland

Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 3 Months (with possibility of extension)

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant/Senior Consultant with a strong background in SAP Commercial Project Management (CPM), particularly within SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across all key functionalities of SAP CPM, including project creation, planning, financial planning, resource planning, risk planning, issue & change management, and project workspace. Additionally, expertise in integrating SAP CPM with SAP PS and SAP SD modules is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Configure SAP CPM and related components in SAP PS modules to meet project requirements.
• Ensure thorough understanding and implementation of SAP CPM functionalities in an Engineer to Order (ETO) and Make to Order (MTO) scenario, particularly within the high-tech industry.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops, gather requirements, and demonstrate system capabilities through workshops and demos.
• Document solutions comprehensively, including process flows, GAPS analysis, and WRICEF documentation.
• Provide expertise in all integration points, particularly with SAP Finance and SAP SD.
• Support the project lifecycle from initial planning and design through to implementation and post-go-live support.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience of at least 5 years in SAP ECC & S/4HANA combined, with a minimum of 2 years specifically focused on SAP S/4HANA CPM.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience across SAP CPM functionalities.
• Strong system configuration skills in SAP CPM and related SAP PS modules.
• Familiarity with SAP integration methodologies and best practices, particularly with SAP Finance and SAP SD.
• Ability to conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops, requirements gathering, and system demonstrations effectively.
• Experience in documenting solutions using process flows, GAPS analysis, and WRICEF documentation.
• Preferred experience designing SAP CPM solutions in ETO and MTO scenarios, ideally within the high-tech industry.
• Business proficiency in English is a must; proficiency in German is a plus.
