A SAP S/4 HANA Functional Consultant is needed to support a leading technology-communication provider.Are you ready for your next professional adventure?Your new roleWe have an opportunity for a SAP S/4 HANA Functional Consultant to join our client’s team in London. The team works on hybrid working basis.Contract: 6 monthsDaily rate: £700 per day through umbrellaHours: 40, Monday to FridayAs a SAP Functional Consultant, you will drive the financial and functional aspects of the Programme, including the collection of business requirements, preparation of business cases, process design and business transformation of implementing of the solution. Deep knowledge and expertise deploying SAP Finance and Management Reporting Modules, practices and challenges is essential as well as the underpinning ERP systems landscape.SAP Functional Consultant ResponsibilitiesDrive programme implementation per the release calendar.Prepare business cases jointly with Programme Lead.Establish a long-term functional roadmap for Programme in terms of finance requirements.Review and update the design of the functional road map and provide subject matter expertise to workshops, process, and design activities, testing activities, training materials, deployment, data cleansing, data mapping, and the data migration activities.Ensure that all accounting issues are identified and resolved to the satisfaction of Group Reporting.Advise Local Market teams on difficult accounting issues and give thorough judgements.Negotiate the best solution in trade-off situations between local market and programme priorities concerning all finance matters of the programme.Provide subject matter expertise.Ensure that the solution, as implemented in the Opco’s, is compliant with the Core Business Model.Work with Opco and Group key stakeholders to ensure design realises any committed benefits and remains aligned to Group initiatives.Support the data advisor, System Integrator, Process Governance team and the Opco Teams in all business-related activities and ensure timely deliveryWhat you’ll need to succeedExperience in SAP S/4 HANA implementation, with a focus on SAP Finance (FI) and Management Reporting (CO); including Profit Centre Accounting (PCA), Cost Centre Accounting (CCA) & Project Systems (PS)Deep experience of Cost Centre Accounting (cost allocations, internal charging), Profit Centre Accounting (Segmentation), Project Cost Management, Time Management reporting Process design and transformationStrong communication and decision-making skills and ability to balance conflicting needs.Ability to influence and manage relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation.Chartered Accountant Qualification is desired (ACCA/ACA)What you need to do nowOur client is looking to interview immediately, so apply today or call us on 0116 261 5000 to speak with one of our Talent Acquisition Specialists!If this role does not meet your requirements but you know of someone else who would be interested, please send my details across to them.
