Help strengthen our Team as our SAP Functional Lead! Capita have an exciting opportunity for a SAP Functional Lead to manage a diverse team. The primary objective is to develop and support a team of consultants to enable them to fulfil their objectives of delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality solutions to customers on the use of software products and services. The team lead should maintain a stimulating environment with a strong focus on learning and development. Typically, this will involve managing resources and workloads whilst being the point of escalation for team members and customers escalated issues. Performance managing the team of consultants as well as mentoring and coaching the team. You will work with stakeholders in the business to ensure outcomes are successfully achieved. What You'll Be Doing: Team management activities including regular team meetings, performance management, resource management and overseeing of daily operations of the team to ensure tasks are efficiently executed. Facilitate requirements gathering meetings. Working collaboratively with other SAP functional/technical teams who support internal customers to resolve issues or implement solutions. Management for the resolution of 1st line support for an external customer and 2nd line support queries for internal customers. Participate in the scheduled activities of disaster recovery, system upgrade and update, system refresh and regression testing. Engage and collaborate with 3rd party supplier for implementation and integration of new systems. The management of all aspects of training to end users for the external customer. The regular review of external customer performance for the invoicing processing services, its operation processing and incidents. This includes the reviews of all potential service improvements to develop them into proposals for consideration and approval by the external customer. Liaising with the external customer's invoice processing partner to provide ongoing continuous improvement services which includes reporting for process director, optimized self-learning technology, enhancements of integration components and process improvements for automation. Scheduling, leading and management of the customer's meeting schedule which include the review of the current landscape, the external customer's SAP strategy, alignment of SAP production roadmap, the review of business applications portfolio strategy, the development plan and review of infrastructure, security or system software upgrades. Review/write change requests, liaise with technical teams when required, amend/set up configuration to deliver a requirement or project, data conversion, unit testing, integration and regression testing as per the customer requirements. Preparation of customer requirement documentation like proof-of-concept document, approach document for solution, test scripts, end user training docs and knowledge transfer document. What we're looking for: Extensive SAP experience in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Financial Accounting/Controlling (FICO) and Material Management (MM) on SAP ECC 6.0 (ERP) system. A strong understanding of business processes for P2P. Experience of integration via SAP Process integration/Process Orchestration (PI/PO)and Business Information Warehouse(BW) Experience working in a challenging project and support environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and provide solutions. A critical thinker who leads with agility. Other Requirements: Fully conversant with MS Office toolset. Knowledge of AP Process Director is essential. Knowledge of BTP (Business technology platform) is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of Sales Distribution (SD) is desirable but not essential.
