SAP MM ConsultantPermanent Oxfordshire We are seeking a skilled SAP MM Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in SAP MM and S4HANA, with the ability to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and provide comprehensive support. This role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to meeting project deadlines.Key Responsibilities:Business Requirements Analysis: Conduct information-gathering sessions with clients to understand their functional, technical, and business process needs. Document and map these requirements to SAP business processes.Solution Assessment: Provide estimates, impact analyses, and feasibility assessments for SAP-based solutions. Make confident recommendations for appropriate SAP business processes to meet client needs effectively.Solution Configuration: Configure solutions within the MM Module, including:Master DataPTP Use CasesHandling Unit Management & Lean Warehouse ManagementProcess Modeling: Develop process models based on business requirements to ensure information and process completeness.Solution Design: Create and review functional specifications. Design and document solutions to meet business requirements.Change Management: Collaborate with business users to gather change request requirements, prepare functional specifications, and conduct necessary reviews.Testing and Documentation: Perform Unit Tests and System Integration Tests, including all related documentation.Project Coordination: Manage project tasks within your functional area, ensuring adherence to tight deadlines.User Support: Assist users during User Acceptance Testing and provide necessary training.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams (e.g., Basis, ABAP, other modules, SAP support, or third parties) to address issues and requests promptly.Cut Over & Data Migration: Support rollout and implementation through cut over and data migration activities.Application Support: Provide break/fix support, minor enhancements, monitoring, and testing for business applications or infrastructure to maintain productivity.Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the intermediary between customer business stakeholders and IT team members.Flexibility: Be willing to work in different time zones as required.Qualifications:Experience: Proven experience in SAP MM and S4HANA.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of interfaces, IDOC, EDI, User exits, and enhancements.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to different time zones and work environments as needed.
