SAP SD-MM Functional Consultant

SAP SD-MM Functional Consultant - UK/EU - Contract Role - Our client has a requirement for a SAP SD MM Consultant. The client are a Consultancy who are supporting a client to implement a indirect tax engine software solution. To meet all client indirect tax requirements. Initially there will be training provided on the solution prior to deployment on client site. Key Job Responsibilities: Review multinational company business models, business scenarios and business process models in Order to cash (OTC), fulfilment and Purchase to Pay (PTP) including company controls frameworks with integration and linkages to Record to Report (RTR) process. Analyse client business requirements, tax and legal requirements and create / finalise functional specifications as input for the technical specifications for the product / solution development and test teams. All documents to undergo QA evaluation and feedback loops. Provide advisory services and functional support to end client. Qualifications: Degree educated or higher. 4+ years of hands-on SAP implementation experience. At least 2 full project delivery life cycles as an SD and, or MM consultant with S/4 HANA. Multi-national cross industry sector experience e.g. consumer (food/ drinks), industrial products, FMCG, Pharma, Oil & gas. Competent to advanced knowledge about SD/ MM integration with FI with expert configuration knowledge. Intermediate knowledge of ABAP and ability to de-bug. Understanding of indirect tax rules and SAP indirect tax (VAT) determination set-up. Experience of working with other tax engines is an advantage e.g. Vertex, Thomson Reuters. Rate £550-600/ day Command and clarity of English verbal and written language critical Travel will be required for 3-4 weeks training in the Netherlands.
