Description:
The Solution Architect is responsible for the overall solution design based on the business, functional and technical requirements coming from an enterprise-scale customer within the Fashion & Lifestyle industry. The solutions must satisfy business problems and meet the customer organization’s objectives, goals and budget. He/she should possess a deep knowledge of the industry and all related processes and possess the capability of articulating the business and technical requirements of the customer in a way that all stakeholders can understand.
The Solution Architect provides technology direction from Industry specific or new offering perspectives to the customer and internal teams.
Essential Functions:
Work on multiple projects simultaneously or one large-scale project
.
Take overall responsibility for the proposed solution by working with the Project Leads to design each aspect of the solution.
Engage with the customer by:
Providing industry specific solutions and best practices knowledge to customers.
Ensuring that solutions, implementation and other relevant methodologies and tools are deployed efficiently in customer strategic workshops and deliveries and ensure that these solutions are delivered on time and are of the highest quality.
Understanding customer requirements and assist in selling additional business. Work closely with Rizing sales force to create and define consulting projects and ensure that the customer's overall business objectives and needs are translated into well-defined and justified projects. This includes preparing work plans and contributing to proposals that describe the process used to meet the customer's needs and include deliverables, timelines and estimates of the costs and resources required.
Demonstrating creativity and thought leadership and use experience in substantiating the proposed solutions to the client.
Acting as a key customer contact and exercise authority appropriate to particular customer requests commensurate with customer expectations of decision-making and consistent with Rizing policies and practices.
Maintaining and expanding customer contact at a high level and building credible relationships with key customer personnel.
Contributing to consulting projects by analyzing client's business processes and designing the appropriate solution. Move logically and creatively from facts to conclusions.
Conducting strategic level workshops with customers to drive an IT solution for acceptance.
Developing solution framework and implementation plan to achieve customer’s business targets.
Provide Leadership by:
For assigned area, overseeing all project activities leading to the implementation of the solution designed.
Providing guidance and direction on Enterprise Applications/Technology to customer and employees.
Working with all stake holders of a given project to ensure seamless and successful delivery of services to the customer.
Informing the relevant country organizations of customer needs/trends in the marketplace and alerting them to potential long-term opportunities.
Working with the Project Manager/Consulting Manager and Project Leads in drafting the project plan (scope, effort, deliverables, timelines and resources), assisting in identifying and recruiting team members, and preparing and assisting in the preparation of individual work plans.
Research on new technologies and tools to accelerate the solution development & implementation. Help upgrade existing frameworks to satisfy current needs of the organization.
Participate in pre-sales engagements, demonstrating the ability to connect with customers when discussing best industry practices and appropriate technology solutions.
Interact with Rizing country organizations as appropriate, to deploy the requisite expertise on the engagement team to address specific customer needs in a timely and efficient manner.
Be a role model and coach for team members by playing a mentor role. Identify and nominate necessary training for the development and upskilling of Rizing’s resources.
Document and disseminate knowledge within organization and conduct regular subject matter training (classroom, virtual connect sessions, etc).
Provide meaningful feedback on the overall performance of project team members.
Work with the Management Team to secure Rizing’s current & future strategy, and its execution.
Champion Rizing’s methodologies and suggest processes improvements required to sustain and improve the operations of the organization.
Propagate and champion Rizing’s culture within all levels of the organization.
Perform any additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when required by the management.
Performs other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
General degree or equivalent/recognized professional qualifications.
Deep understanding of cross-functional processes of enterprise applications or multiple technology platform proficiency with at least 10-12 years of functional and technical SAP experience and industry knowledge.
Possess a thorough understanding of integrated business environments with a deep understanding of the Fashion and Lifestyle industry.
Knowledge and experience in SAP implementation methodology.
A minimum of 2 complete project life cycles in an SAP Architecting role, with customer engagement.
