ARC are currently looking for

Yard Operative

Ongoing temporary, 2-3 days a week

A wood yard sawmill is seeking a Yard Operative to help keep the site tidy, move wood fence panels and posts, and load finished products onto vehicles. Previous experience is preferred but not essential. You will receive on-site induction and have the opportunity to learn how to use the cutting machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeping the yard clean and organized
• Moving wood fence panels and posts
• Loading finished products onto vehicles
• Learning how to use the cutting machinery (with training)

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment is preferred but not essential
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Reliable and hardworking
• Good attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills

This temporary work for a Production Operative is for an ongoing duration, in a Saw Mill
