iO Associates are working with a major National Security & Defence Consultancy to find a Software Engineer with knowledge of Java and C/C++ to join them on a permanent basis.
Working within an established team deployed into one of their defence end-clients, you will develop and maintain mission critical systems. Using emerging technologies as well as more classic object-oriented languages, you will design and deliver software solutions as part of a larger & important programme of work.
Skills required:
Java, C and/or C++
Git
CI/CD pipeline development
Knowledge of the defence landscape and ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders
Desirable: UX/UI Design experience; knowledge of Geospatial & mapping application development
