Full Time - 37 hours per week
Hybrid - 2 to 3 days per week in either Newport, South Wales, Titchfield, Hampshire or Darlington.

My client are a large prestigious government organisation and are looking for an SC Cleared Software Engineer to come and join their team on an initial 9 month basis, paying a day rate, INSIDE IR35.

We are looking for a Software engineer/ developer with knowledge of Cloud technologies, with a willingness to collaborate, learn and grow during their time with us.

You will be working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) utilising Angular 2+ and have good working knowledge of TypeScript, HTML language, Node.js, CSS, Angular Framework, Angular Material, JavaScript, RJXS, HTML5, Public cloud providers e.g. AWS, GCPTerraform, Cloud Formation, Python, Identity and Access management (IAM), Knowledge of CICD pipelines, and how to apply RBAC in Complex Environment

Essential requirements of role:

• Ability to support the prioritisation and defining of approaches to the full Software Development Life Cycle, from defining user stories through to testing, delivery and ongoing support of products.
• Ability to design, code, test and support complex work, following key principles and design patterns, and carry out agreed maintenance and operational tasks.
• Ability to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes.
• Ability to work collaboratively to peer review work of others, share knowledge and support more junior colleagues.
