SC Cleared Solutions Architect

SC Cleared Solutions Architect required Remote working Contract until March 2025 with possible extension. For a SAS Core Cloud project. Background to the role of Solution Architect: The SAS (Shared Application Services) team sits in the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) team within the client. The client has multiple Cloud platforms hosting applications and systems used by the Portfolio teams in the client. These existing cloud platforms carry technical debt and do not enable the Portfolio teams to release changes quickly. With this in mind, the SAS team want to build a centralised Core Cloud platform hosted in AWS that: consolidates existing cloud platforms; improves the security posture of the platform; enables the teams to release changes quicker; scale and industrialise the Core Cloud platform to be used as the platform of choice by the other Portfolio teams. The SAS team are seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to work alongsidethe lead architectto design and build the centralised Coe Cloud platform in AWS. Two key services that we are aware of that would be hosted on this platform are: A web application being build by a Portfolio team with a go live date of Feb 2025; 70 services currently hosted on ACP (one of the existing cloud platforms) which will need to be migrated to Core Cloud. #J-18808-Ljbffr
