School Administrator
Milestone Education are currently working on behalf of a primary school in Coventry who are recruiting for an Administration Officer. The school are keen to ensure that all applicants are able to demonstrate prior school based experience with a good understanding of SIMS.
Job role:
- Answering the telephone and dealing with queries.
- Maintaining databases.
- Monitoring of admin office emails.
- Recording pupil attendance and undertaking administrative duties relating to first day. absence calls and sending relevant letters to families.
- Maintaining the school diary General photocopying, filing, distribution of post, and admin tasks.
- Arranging staff cover, liaising with supply staff, maintaining staff absence spreadsheet.
- Manage the schools social media platforms.
Key Requirements
- GCSE Grade 4 in literacy and numeracy
- Previous experience of administration tasks and front of house reception
- Ability to manage social media platforms.
- Able to use all office equipment and has knowledge of administrative, word processing & excel software packages.
- Prior experience of using SIMS.
