School Caretaker

Academics are working in partnership with a fantastic school who have an amazing opportunity for a school Caretaker. The right candidate will be responsible for the general upkeep of the school grounds. This includes clearing the grounds of all rubbish, leaves and snow / ice as appropriate, opening and closing the school ect.

The successful candidate will also be doing the following:

• Setting the priorities for maintenance and repairs
• Carrying out basic repairs
• Managing access to the premises and maintaining security
• Cleaning or supervising cleaning
• Planning site use and development
• Championing health and safety around the school, and supervising external contractors
• Managing site staff

Rates from: �14-16 Hour
Located in: Vale of Glamorgan

Start Date: ASAP
Duration / Likely Duration: Ongoing

Hours: 07:00 - 09:00 and 15:15 - 17:45

Experience, Training & Qualifications

• Be able to work flexibly
• Have basic DIY skills
• Be reasonably fit to cope with the lifting and carrying involved
• Right to work in UK
• Two references
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (formerly CRB check)
