About the Role

As a School Caretaker, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive environment where your skills and dedication will directly contribute to the success and safety of students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Maintenance: Ensuring the school premises are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
• Repairs and Upkeep: Carrying out basic maintenance tasks and minor repairs promptly.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Conducting regular checks to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Security: Opening and locking up the school, including setting alarms and maintaining security protocols.
• Facilities Management: Supporting the school in managing supplies and resources, including furniture setup for events.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a caretaker, facilities, or maintenance role (preferred but not essential).
• A proactive and flexible approach to work, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• An understanding of health and safety requirements in a school environment.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo one).
