Position: School Cleaner

Location: Plymouth

Pay Rate: £12-13 per hour

Job Type: Part time (working 5 days a week)

We are seeking an experienced Cleaner to work in our partnering school in Plymouth. As a cleaner you will get the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Our Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Proven professional references with clean records
• Relevant cleaning experience
• Knowledge of the cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Driving on own is desirable

Responsibilities as School Cleaner:

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing daily.
• Sanitise restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
• Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly.
• Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
• Follow health and safety rules when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Site Supervisor and assist with minor repairs when needed.
• Communicate with school staff to address cleaning requests or concerns quickly and effectively.
