School cleaner - Barnsley

Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM (10 hours per week)
Enhanced DBS Required

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented School Cleaner to join our team in Barnsley. This role is essential in ensuring that school premises remain clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff.

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

• Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
\n
• Maintain hygiene standards in classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas.
\n
• Follow health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines.
\n
• Report any maintenance or damage issues to the Supervisor.
\n
• Work independently and as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
\n
• Ensure cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored securely.
\n
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in a school or similar environment.
\n
• Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
\n
• Good time management and attention to detail.
\n
• Enhanced DBS check
\n
