Job Opportunity: School Financial Advisor (Leicestershire)

�19.11 Per Hour Umbrella

We're looking for dynamic and innovative individuals to join our team as School Financial Advisors. What We Offer:

• Positions: 4 roles available
• Hours: Flexible options - Full-time, Part-time, Term-time
• Location: Hybrid working after initial training at County Hall
• Duration: Temporary until Christmas, with potential for extension
• Travel: Reimbursed expenses for school visits

Your Role:

• Empower schools to understand and manage their budgets effectively
• Ensure schools meet statutory financial requirements
• Deliver top-tier customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with a team of dedicated School Financial Advisors
• Provide on-site support to school-based staff
• Engage in a couple of weeks of induction and training at County Hall

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of school financial management systems (e.g., SIMS FMS, Access)
• Clear understanding of school financial management processes
• Positive "can do" attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS clearance
• Full clean driving license and access to a car
• Finance experience (accountancy qualification is a plus)
• Proficiency in Excel (training will be provided for other systems)
