School HR Assistant
Days/hours: 8am till 4pm Monday to Friday

This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate
ArWe are looking for an experienced HR assistant to work with one of our partner schools in Birmingham. You will provide a high level of administration support to the school and ensure HR servies are delivered in a proactive, effective and efficient way.
We are looking for somebody who is highly committed and has a genuine passion for education for all and can be flexible and optimistic with all tasks.
Responsibilities
- To support with recruitment processes across the academies.
- Assist with recording and tracking of job applications.
- To ensure room and refreshments are ready before interviews take place.
- To ensure new employee receive induction packs and required information.
- To ensure all new starters have login details and ID cards.
- Support the maintenance of a Single Central Register (SCR).
- Ensure monthly holiday entitlement emails are sent to support staff.
- Assist the HR officer with maintenance of confidential staff records.
- Maintain an accurate filing system and process HR related paperwork.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested.
Person specification
- Previous experience in a HR role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication, writing and editing skills with the ability to build relationships with others.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to multi-task.
- To work with accuracy and a high attention to detail.
- High proficiency with Microsft Office.
Requirements
- 5 GCSE A* - C or equivalent
- Right to work in the UK.
- An enhanced child/child & adult DBS certificate on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
- A minimum of two professional references (three if neither is child-based) to cover the last 24 months.
