School Site Supervisor

Vetro Education is seeking to recruit a School Site Supervisor to work in a Secondary School in Cardiff with an immediate start. The role is full time (39.5 hours per week) and previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
As a Welsh Government framework staffing provider, Vetro Education will allow you to work in Primary, Secondary and SEN schools as well as numerous privately run education provisions across Wales.

• Hours: 39.5 hours per week - Monday 12pm-730pm, Tuesday 12pm-830pm, Wednesday 12pm-730pm, Thursday 12pm to 9pm, Friday 12pm-7pm

The role: What you'll be doing as a School Site Supervisor

\n

\n
• Securing the school buildings and setting the intruder alarms.
\n
• Supporting the cleaning staff by moving stock and assisting with cleaning duties.
\n
• Minor maintenance as required.
\n
• Disposal of general and recycled waste to main refuse area.
\n
• Delivering received goods to staff throughout the school.
\n
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the school, empty litter bins and keep drains free of litter and leaves.
\n
• Replenish toilet rolls , soap and blue towels in Staff and Pupil WCs as required.
\n
• Escort contractors across site as necessary.
\n

The candidate: What you'll need to be successful as a School Site Supervisor

\n

\n
• Confidence and competence of meeting and greeting visitors to the school
\n
• Being able to work independently and as part of the wider team
\n
• Proactive work ethic with a "can do" attitude
\n
• References covering the last two years (no gaps)
\n
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
\n
• The right to work in the UK
\n
