We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Science Teacher to join our team, supporting students with a range of special educational needs. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students, helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Utilising a range of teaching methods and resources to ensure that all students are able to access and understand the curriculum.
- Providing individual support to students who require additional assistance.
- Implementing strategies to promote positive learning and behavioural outcomes.
- Attending team meetings to discuss individual student progress and support plans.
- Working collaboratively to develop and implement strategies for supporting students with special needs.
- Sharing observations and insights with colleagues to inform lesson planning and interventions.
- Assessing student progress regularly and providing feedback to students and parents.
- Developing and implementing effective assessment strategies.
- Promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a proven track record of success teaching GCSE Science.
- You have a strong understanding of the needs of students with special educational needs and are confident working in a SEND setting.
- You are a passionate and dedicated teacher, committed to providing high-quality education for all students.
- You possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- You are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- You are a confident driver with access to your own vehicle.
