Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic science teacher to join a successful secondary school in Oldham.

This is a full-time temporary teaching role to start immediately to cover an open vacancy due to a sudden change in circumstances. It is highly likely to become a permanent role if the supply teacher excels on a temporary basis.

The Role

Teacher of Science

Five days a week - 8.20am to 3.00pm

Delivery of biology, chemistry, and physics with a focus on innovative practical lessons

Positive confident classroom management skills with a focus on Assessment for Learning.

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students

The timetable is largely key stage 3 but the school are able to include year 10 and year 11 classes for specific sciences depending on the successful applicants' skills.

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career teachers and experienced QTS teachers.

The academy cannot consider applications from unqualified teachers.

Hold QTS or QTLS or ECT status

Have the legal right to work full time in the UK

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
