Role Overview:
As a Science Teacher, you will ignite a passion for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across various key stages. You'll inspire critical thinking, foster scientific inquiry, and support students in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and Deliver Dynamic Lessons: Engage students with interactive lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics that stimulate their imagination.
  • Nurture Curiosity: Build a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel motivated to explore and participate.
  • Personalise Learning: Tailor teaching strategies to cater to the individual needs of each student, ensuring that every learner has the opportunity to succeed.
  • Monitor Progress: Regularly assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Innovate the Curriculum: Play an active role in shaping and enhancing the science curriculum by incorporating innovative resources and approaches.
  • Collaborate and Share Expertise: Work closely with fellow educators to exchange ideas and continuously improve teaching and learning across the school.
  • Go Beyond the Classroom: Take part in extra-curricular activities and school events, enriching students' educational experience.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a related subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
