Role Overview:
As a Science Teacher, you will ignite a passion for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across various key stages. You'll inspire critical thinking, foster scientific inquiry, and support students in reaching their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and Deliver Dynamic Lessons: Engage students with interactive lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics that stimulate their imagination.
- Nurture Curiosity: Build a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel motivated to explore and participate.
- Personalise Learning: Tailor teaching strategies to cater to the individual needs of each student, ensuring that every learner has the opportunity to succeed.
- Monitor Progress: Regularly assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Innovate the Curriculum: Play an active role in shaping and enhancing the science curriculum by incorporating innovative resources and approaches.
- Collaborate and Share Expertise: Work closely with fellow educators to exchange ideas and continuously improve teaching and learning across the school.
- Go Beyond the Classroom: Take part in extra-curricular activities and school events, enriching students' educational experience.
Requirements:
- A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
