Location: Hedon
Start Date: January 2025 or sooner
Salary: £30,000 - £47,000 per annum (M1 to UPS3) (Depending on Experience)
Contract Type: Long-term/Permanent, Full-time

Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity?

GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Hedon starting as soon as possible or from the beginning of January 2025. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a thriving academic environment.

Science Teacher Responsibilities:


  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across key stages.
  • Create and implement lesson plans that align with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Support students in small groups or one-to-one sessions to enhance their learning experience.
  • Foster a love for Science by creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards and share best practices.
  • Contribute to the school’s ethos of promoting a well-rounded education.

Job Requirements Needed for Science Teacher:


  • QTS or equivalent such as QTLS, PGCE, or ECT is required.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Science in schools.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
