About the Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Teach general science across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to specialize at KS4 or KS5 (depending on qualifications and experience).
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities and styles.
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the wider science department, including participating in curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
  • Uphold high expectations for behavior and academic achievement.
What We're Looking For:

To be successful, you will need:

  • A relevant degree in a science-related subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, with the ability to teach science broadly.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
