Science Teacher

Tradewind are recruiting for a Science Teacher for a position due to start in January 2025 at one of our Wirral client secondary schools.

The outline for the Science Teacher position based on the Wirral is below:

• Teacher of Science (KS3 and KS4)
• Ofsted rated 'good' Wirral School
• Part-time position - Week A) M/W/Th, Week B) T/Th/F
• Continuing until July 2025
• Pay is up to MPS6, £223.62 per day

The successful Science Teacher will be joining a department whose intent is for students to develop their knowledge and a deeper understanding that allows them to relate scientific explanations to the world around them and promote a lifelong love of an exciting and intriguing subject.

To be considered for this Science Teacher position based on the Wirral the essentials are:

• Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, following the UK national curriculum
• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
• Have a child workforce enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
