About the Role:

The school is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable science Teacher to join its faculty. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of mathematics, the ability to inspire students of all abilities, and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities

  
  Deliver High-Quality science Lessons: Plan and teach engaging, comprehensive lessons that cover key scienctific concepts, fostering student understanding and curiosity.
Create an Inclusive Learning Environment: Establish a classroom culture that encourages questioning, collaboration, and a positive approach to problem-solving.
Monitor and Assess Progress: Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth and confidence in science.
Collaborate with Colleagues: Share best practices and contribute to the development of the science department, ensuring a cohesive approach to teaching.
Support Extracurricular Activities: Participate in science-related extracurricular activities or clubs that encourage students to further explore and apply their mathematical skills.

Qualifications

  Educational Background: Degree in science or a related field.
  Teaching Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is preferred.
  Experience: Demonstrated experience teaching science at the secondary school level.
  Skills: Strong communication and classroom management skills, with a passion for science education.
  Additional Requirements: An Enhanced DBS on the update service.
