We have an excellent opportunity for a Science Teacherwho is looking for a permanent role, for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Clitheroe area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in April 2025, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teaching across different key stages, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as required
Preparing students for assessments, exams, and practical investigations
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and scientific thinking
Demonstrating and supervising practical experiments while ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed
Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and setting targets for improvement
Differentiating lessons to support students of all abilities, including SEN and EAL learners
Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Encouraging students to develop investigative and analytical skills through hands-on learning
Staying up to date with developments in Science education and incorporating innovative teaching strategies
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
Relevant qualifications
Proven experience of teaching Science
Strong behaviour management
Two education or school-based references
