Science Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Mainstream Secondary School, Greenwich

Role and Responsibilities:
- Support the Science department in delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and student support.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help.
- Supervise and facilitate engaging science experiments and practical sessions.
- Help to create and maintain an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students in developing their scientific knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
- Undertake administrative tasks related to the Science department.
Requirements:
- A degree in a Science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.).
- A passion for science and a desire to share this with young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Preferred:
- Previous experience working with children or young people in any capacity.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to education.
