Science Tutor – Lincoln

Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Pay Rate: £25 - £35 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Part-Time / Flexible

GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking for a passionate and experienced Science Tutor to support secondary students in Lincoln. This role is ideal for tutors, science graduates, or qualified teachers who are eager to make a difference in students' learning.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging KS3-KS5 Science tuition sessions in a 1:1 or small-group setting.
• Adapting teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Supporting students with exam preparation, coursework, and general subject comprehension.
• Tracking progress and providing regular feedback to students and teachers.

Requirements:

• A degree in Science or a related subject (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
• Experience tutoring or teaching Science at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to simplify complex concepts.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
