The Company has a strong track record of discovering new drug candidates through its core strengths in medicinal chemistry and translational science, with six Redx discovered molecules now in the clinic. Alongside, its wholly owned assets zelasudil, RXC008, zamaporvint and RXC009, the Company has significant partnership deals with both AstraZeneca and Jazz Pharmaceuticals. The RoleAs a laboratory-based scientist you will be trained to provide support to Redx projects by performing in vitro and in vivo assays that are required to understand the ADME properties of potential drug candidates. This will include assessment of physicochemical properties of compounds as well as DMPK profiling of compounds.ResponsibilitiesIndependently plan, undertake and interpret a wide range of established assays with minimal guidance from the line manager.Establish new analytical/DMPK assays and techniques to meet the requirements of the project(s) and to expand the technical capabilities of the department.
