As a Scrub Nurse Or ODP, you will:
  • Scrub for Consultant-led surgeries in various specialisms, including orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynae, and ENT.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans considering perioperative risks and overall wellbeing.
  • Assess and support patients' health and wellbeing across a diverse caseload.
  • Promote best practices and contribute to quality improvements.
  • Collect, organise, and interpret data to make informed assessments.
  • Foster a safe, secure, and infection-controlled working environment.
  • Lead and mentor others in developing knowledge and work practices.

  • Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner status with at least 2 years of scrub experience.
  • Current NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions.

  • Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge.
  • High motivation and the ability to thrive in a challenging but rewarding environment.
  • Orthopaedic experience (highly desirable).
