Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented experienced Sea Freight Operator with Customs experience to join a Haulage and Freight Forwarding company in Harwich.
You will need 2 years experience in a similar role.

The Role
Quoting Clients
Booking jobs via inhouse Computer software
Liaising with customers, agents and suppliers
Arranging collections and deliveries
Preparing Documents ( EG, Bill of Lading, Collection and Delivery Notes, Customs Paperwork)
Customs clearance
Invoicing
Requirements
Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
Customs Clearance experience
Familiarity with EDI systems and transportation management software is advantageous.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and clients.
Proficient in data entry with excellent attention to detail.
