Job Title: Seasonal Worker (May to November)
Location: Farmer Copleys Farm, Pontefract
Salary: £12.50 per hour (21 and above)
Job Type: Full time, Fixed Term. 8 hours per day, 5 days a week (with occasional weekends).
Job Overview:
Farmer Copleys is seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Seasonal Workers for the period from May to November. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors and are ready to face all kinds of weather conditions. The position involves a variety of tasks across the farm, including weeding, landscaping, tidying, hoeing, strimming, and other seasonal activities such as moving pumpkins, planting strawberries, parking management, and assisting with photo opportunity building for visitors to enjoy on the farm.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out general outdoor farm maintenance, including weeding, hoeing, and tidying garden areas.
Assist with landscaping tasks, including strimming and other grounds upkeep.
Help with planting strawberries and other seasonal crops.
Move and arrange pumpkins and other produce as needed.
Assist with parking management and help customers park during busy periods.
Build and maintain photo opportunities and themed displays for visitors to enjoy.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
Work independently and stay focused on completing tasks efficiently.Requirements:
