Second in Charge of MFL Department

We are currently working with an OFSTED Good Secondary School seeking a b second in charge for their MFL department. /b br The role is permanent and full time, expected start date in September 2024. br They are ideally looking for a Spanish specialist, who will be teaching Key stages 3, 4, and 5. b QTS is essential /b . You will hold shared responsibility for the staff in the MFL department. br There is a b TLR 2B /b included with this role. br Responsibilities will include: ul li Teach high-quality and successful lessons to all age groups. /li li To be a Form Tutor and/or Personal Advisor. /li li Ensure pupils progression is adequately monitored and achievements maximised. /li li Efficiently address gaps in attainment of underachieving students. /li li Support the Head of Department in line management within the MFL Department. /li li Monitor the quality of MFL teaching and learning. /li li Be responsible for developing the work of the department, raising the level of attainment and progress in MFL in accordance with Academy targets and expectations. /li /ul br p JBRP1_UKTJ /p
