Secondary Learning Support Assistant - Chester

New Directions Education are currently looking for a caring and empathetic Learning Support Assistant (TA) for a secondary school in Chester. This has the potential to be a full-time, long-term position for the right candidate.

Duties include:

• Working with students as directed by the Special Educational Needs coordinator, to ensure all SEND students make the best possible progress in school both academically and socially.
• An efficient approach to learning and teaching by adapting relevant strategies to support the work of the teacher - increasing achievements of students.
• Promote, support and facilitate inclusion.
• Communicate effectively and sensitively with students to adapt their needs.
