Mandatory Requirements for Science Teacher:
- Hold a UK recognised Teaching qualification, ideally with QTS
- Be confident teaching Science to Secondary level students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Be able to apply individualised adjustments to planning for students who require additional assistance with their learning, ensuring that individual educational goals are met.
- Collaborate with department staff to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and interventions.
- A supportive team of departmental colleagues who involve themselves fully in the pastoral and social life of the school
