Responsibilities:


  1. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in your subject area, ensuring that learning objectives are met, and students are challenged to achieve their best.
  2. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and use data to inform instructional decisions, supporting students in achieving their academic goals.
  3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn, managing classroom behaviour effectively and enforcing school policies.
  4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives, share best practices, and support the overall goals of the school community.
  5. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and participate in school events and activities to foster positive relationships with the wider community.

Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  2. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for your area of specialisation, with the ability to teach across different key stages and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  3. Prior experience teaching in a secondary school setting is preferred.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
