Salary: £87 - £108 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant (TA) to support our client schools in Redcar. Role Overview:
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with teachers to provide additional support to students across various subjects. Your role will include fostering a positive learning environment, assisting with lesson delivery, and supporting students' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to teachers by assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.
• Support students individually or in small groups to enhance learning and understanding.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment to help students thrive.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Assist with behaviour management and encourage positive interactions among students.
• Promote the school’s ethos and values both in and out of the classroom.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with secondary school students is desirable.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people’s development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to varying learning needs and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
